About Ømar

Ømar is an architectural visual artist based in New York City. He photographs old cities after dark: the arch of a bridge, the edge of a canal, a square emptied of people, each held together by one small, warm light.

He came to photography through thirteen years of design, and composes the way a designer does: structure first, then the one detail that makes you look twice. Light, found in the dark is his first collection, printed in signed editions of five.
