Keeper of the Dolomites

Dolomites, Italy

A mountain range, and one small light that doesn't back down.

After sunset the Dolomites turn the color of deep water. The peaks fill the frame, sharp and cold, and a single lantern burns at the center.

on your wall

Bigger than it looks on your screen.

It's the quietest image in the collection. It doesn't shout from across the room. It's made for a wall you look at every day and keep finding something new in.

At 24 × 36 inches, it's three feet tall. Hung above a standard sofa, it holds the whole wall.

Where it works bestAbove a sofa or a bed. The cool blues sit well with white, grey, and natural linen.

questions

Before you inquire

Will more copies ever be printed?

No. Each photograph exists as five prints at 24 × 36 inches. Once copy 5 sells, the edition is closed for good.

What if it doesn't look right on my wall?

You have 14 days from delivery to send it back in its original packaging for a full refund. Shipping is insured, so if it arrives damaged, I replace it.

How much is a print?

Pricing is shared on request. Send an inquiry and I'll reply within a day with pricing and availability.

How do I know which copy I'm getting?

It's shown on this page and on the inquiry button. Your print, certificate, and invoice all carry the same number.

What if two people want the same copy?

The first paid invoice gets it. If someone pays before you, I'll offer you the next copy, and you're free to say no.

Is it an investment?

Buy it because you want to live with it. What's true is simple: only five will ever exist, and each one is signed and documented.

Is it framed?

Prints ship unframed, ready for a 24 × 36 frame. Ask when you inquire and I'll recommend a frame and mat for your room.

the artist

Omar Hammouda

“We all go through dark stretches. I want these to remind you that you can carry your own light.”

Most photographers chase the light. Omar M Hammouda waits until it’s almost gone.

His photographs are about one small, warm light holding its own against the night. He shoots in deep blacks, teal shadows, and coral glow. The scenes are real, with just enough magic to make you look twice.

Based in New York City, Omar came to photography through design, and every frame is placed so your eye lands right on the light.

Light, found in the dark is his first limited-edition collection. It has six photographs, each printed at 24 × 36 inches in an edition of only five, signed, numbered, and certified.
