Omar Hammouda
“We all go through dark stretches. I want these to remind you that you can carry your own light.”
Most photographers chase the light. Omar M Hammouda waits until it’s almost gone.
His photographs are about one small, warm light holding its own against the night. He shoots in deep blacks, teal shadows, and coral glow. The scenes are real, with just enough magic to make you look twice.
Based in New York City, Omar came to photography through design, and every frame is placed so your eye lands right on the light.
Light, found in the dark is his first limited-edition collection. It has six photographs, each printed at 24 × 36 inches in an edition of only five, signed, numbered, and certified.
