Enhance photos, save time in the shooting process and speed up the perfect shot with mirror technology.

Problem

Photographers have to carry around multiple tools such as lens and filters. Even so, the editing process afterwards is still lenghty and energy draining.

The photography session is tiring for both the photographer and the model since shots need to be retaken due to the model being insecure about their poses.

Solution

Make use of cutting edge technology to design and implement reflective filters in order to provide an effortless and improved experience for any photography session, studio or outside. Save time taking the perfect shot by enhancing the quality of the photographs.

Both photographer and model or subject are able to take control over any environment, and pose themselves for that exceptional image in a fraction of the time it would take if the mirror aspect wasn't available.

User Testing

Usability testing

Product was tested with target users (photographers and models) and adjustments were made based on their feedback. After creating a final set of prototypes, we prepared a usability testing plan and gave the users the following tasks:

What is this website about?

What can you use this product for?

Place an order for a R-Filter.

Issues

Photographers need detailed list of specifications such as diameter, thickness, color coating, light transmittance and other.

It was not very clear that the filter was targeting models as well, not just photographers.

It was not clear what the delivered package will include. The price was not justified.

Users wished to see a side-by-side comparison of photographs and videos shot with and without the filter.

Solutions

Gather all specifications needed by photographers and models and display them in an easy-to-read layout.

Clearly mention that both photographer and model can benefit from this product.

Offer images and a list of what the delivered package will contain.

Add side by side examples of photographs and videos shot in different locations with different sets of lighting.

Reflection

Next Steps

While adopting a flexible and iterative design process that has welcomed change in each phase, we have concluded that continuous testing paid a crucial part of implementing this website, since the product is relatively unknown.
