Content Cloud

Overview

Futuri Content Cloud is designed to address the major challenges faced by content creators, brands, and social media teams in consistently building an audience. With Al-based technology, this platform not only suggests what to post and when the best time to post is, but also provides in-depth analytics to measure impact, engagement, and audience growth. The platform combines content creation, audience insights, cross-platform distribution, and community collaboration into one efficient ecosystem. For anyone serious about building influence in the digital age, this is a strategic tool that accelerates the achievement of their content goals.

My role

As a UI/UX Designer on the Futuri Content Cloud project, I am responsible for designing intuitive user experiences that effectively drive audience growth.

I am involved from beginning to end, including user research, competitor analysis research, user flow and user journey creation, wireframing, UI design, and usability testing scenario development. Throughout this process, I work to ensure that design solutions are not only aesthetically pleasing but also based on data and real user needs.

Process

The design process for this project was divided into four key phases to ensure a user centered and results experience: The design process for this project was divide 1. Discovery Conducting competitor analysis, digital content trend research, and user interviews to gather insights and understand the key needs and challenges faced by content creators. 2. Ideation Brainstorming solutions based on discovery findings. Developing user flows, identifying core features, and prioritizing user needs in the form of initial wireframes.

3. Design Process Developing high fidelity UI based on a consistent design system. Creating interactive prototypes to test flow and visual consistency, while optimizing readability and information hierarchy. 4. Usability Testing Developing relevant testing tasks and scenarios, such as finding the best time to post content, checking audience insights from a piece of content, and accessing content performance results from various platforms.

Discovery

Discover and Understanding The first stage of the design process begins with gaining a deep understanding of the main problems faced by content creators and brands in today's digital age. Through industry trend analysis and case studies of popular content distribution platforms, 1 identified that many users feel overwhelmed by inefficient content production processes, a lack of insight into their audience, and confusion about when and what to post. These insights form the foundation for developing a design direction that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also strategically relevant and beneficial.

Competitor Analysis

To understand Futuri Content Cloud's position in the market, I conducted a competitor analysis of several similar platforms that have similar functions, which is to support content strategies based on data and Al. This analysis covers key features, strengths, weaknesses, and the design approaches they employ. From this case, I found that many platforms excel in one area but lack integration in combining audience insights, content strategies, and collaboration tools. This finding presents an opportunity for Futuri to position itself as a more cohesive end to end solution.

Ideation

User Journey

Based on the discovery steps, I began to map out the user journey to understand the thought process, emotional needs, and expectations of users when using this platform. This approach helped me identify critical moments that could be optimized through targeted design solutions.

The design process begins with understanding user needs through research and empathy, followed by ideation to generate creative solutions. Next, prototypes are created and tested iteratively to refine the user experience.

Usability testing

To evaluate the overall effectiveness, usability, and user satisfaction of the Futuri Content Cloud platform, I conducted a series of moderated usability testing sessions with participants representing potential users of the platform. These sessions were carefully structured to simulate real world usage, using realistic scenarios combined with goal oriented tasks that reflect a new user's journey when discovering and exploring Futuri Content Cloud. The main goal of this usability testing was to observe how users interact with key features, how easily they can navigate the interface, and whether the design choices, such as content hierarchy, button placement, and terminology successfully guide users toward achieving their goals. Furthermore, I aimed to identify any usability issues or pain points that could hinder the overall user experience and determine whether the platform effectively aligns with user needs, expectations, and motivations. By analyzing participant behavior, feedback, and performance in completing tasks, I was able to gather valuable insights to inform potential design improvements. These findings also helped validate whether the current product direction supports users through every stage of their content creation journey from discovery and exploration to engagement and confidence. Participants were given the following scenario to complete: 1. You are interested in becoming a content creator but are still unsure of what to do, and you have heard that Futuri Content Cloud can solve your problems. Now you want to know more about Futuri Content Cloud, so what do you do? 2. You see that Futuri Content Cloud provides a community for sharing information related to content creators, and you want to join. What can you do? 3. You understand Futuri Content Cloud, but you still want to explore its features. How do you do that? 4. Right now, you're facing challenges and feeling confused. What should you do? 5. You also want to know the latest news about Futuri Content Cloud to build your confidence in using this platform. What should you do? 6. You are 100% confident in using Futuri Content Cloud. What can you do?

Reflection

With additional time, I would continue refining the design through extended usability testing using structured scenarios and task- based activities. This would allow for deeper validation of the content structure, visual clarity, and effectiveness of key interaction points, ensuring they align with user expectations. If direct testing couldn't be arranged, I would explore alternative methods such as distributing targeted surveys featuring design cups. This would help aather meaninaful input from potential users to uncover early stade insiahts and areas for improvement

Moreover, I would revisit and review the design from a broader usability perspective focusing on clarity, consistency, and simplicity to ensure the overall experience remains intuitive and user focused throughout the platform.
